Dear Mr. Chairman:
We are writing with respect to H.Con.Res. 162, a concurrent resolution expressing concern over the conditions of ethnic Albanians living in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
This is to inform you that the Subcommittee on Human Rights and International Organizations, under unanimous consent agreement, reported out this resolution. The resolution is also jointly referred to the Subcommittee on Europe and the Middle East.
Congressman DioGuardi is to be commended for his strong commitment to human rights, and in particular, for offering this initiative.
